FINISHING CAPABILITIES

Star offers a complete solution to your aluminum extrusion needs - from extrusions to finished products.

Standard surface finishes available from STAR include mill finish, buffing and brush finishes, anodized and paint (both electrostatic wet and powder coat).

In addition, we can also provide fabulous combination finishes with multi-color anodize and powder coat paint.

Our powder coat line uses a four-stage industrial spray wash system to ensure product quality. Our Nordson spray booth can handle up to 77” extrusions using automatic and manual spray guns. Powder is reclaimed where possible for cost effective coating of your products. Capabilities range from very small parts to parts up to 35 feet long.

Parts are cured in our 104 foot convection oven with a max temperature of 450°. All products are inspected for quality prior to packaging. Any part that does not meet our quality standards is set aside and reworked.

With our new racking system, we now have the capability of processing small parts in large volumes. Small parts are racked off-line and then transported to the paint line for processing.
